Comprehensive Passing and Movement Training: 45-Minute Session
Passing and movement are the backbone of team play, and this drill focuses on improving both. Start with 10 minutes of wall-passing drills: stand 5 meters from a wall and pass the ball using both feet. Aim for a target marked on the wall to improve precision, completing 100 passes (50 per foot). Transition to 15 minutes of partner-passing drills: set up 4 cones in a square (5 meters apart), and pass the ball to your partner while moving around the square. This enhances your ability to pass while on the move. Add complexity by introducing one-touch passes for 10 minutes—focus on speed and accuracy, aiming to complete 50 consecutive passes without a mistake. End the session with 10 minutes of triangle passing: set up 3 cones in a triangle (7 meters apart) and pass the ball between them with a partner, moving to a new position after each pass. This drill emphasizes spatial awareness and quick decision-making. Repeat this session twice a week to elevate your passing skills and movement efficiency during matches.
