Ball Control: 15-Minute Daily Routine
Ball control is the foundation of every great player’s game. Start with 3 sets of 2 minutes of toe taps, alternating your feet to tap the top of the ball while keeping it stationary. Follow this with 3 minutes of side-to-side rolls, using the sole of your foot to move the ball left and right. Progress to the “box drill,” where you use all parts of your feet (inside, outside, and sole) to move the ball in a small square. Spend 5 minutes juggling the ball, aiming for 20 consecutive touches without it hitting the ground. These drills not only improve your control but also develop coordination and balance.
